Terms of use
Last updated 24 August 2026. These terms cover FlatStock, the inventory app and this website. Plain English on purpose: if a sentence here is unclear, write to us and we will fix the sentence.
Who you are dealing with
FlatStock is operated by Piotr Łatanik, a sole trader entered in the Polish CEIDG register, trading as FlatStock. NIP 6783219142, REGON 529369773, ul. Marii Konopnickiej 61/147, 30-302 Kraków, Poland. Contact: [email protected], which a person reads.
The service
FlatStock is an inventory tracker. You create an account with an email address and a password, and you keep items, folders, quantities, photos, counts and a check-out ledger in it. Your data is written to your own device first and synced to your account, so the app keeps working with no connection.
An account may be used by as many people and on as many devices as you like. There is no charge per person and no seat counting. "Who has it" on the check-out ledger is a text field, not an identity, so treat your password as shared.
The honest ceiling is 10,000 items per account. It is a limit on what we will support rather than a switch that flips, and if you are approaching it we would rather hear from you than have you find out.
What it costs
One plan. $24.99 per month or $199.00 per year, with a 14-day free trial before the first charge. Starting the trial requires a card, so the account carries on without interruption if you keep it. There are no tiers, no per-item pricing and no per-person pricing, and we do not intend to introduce any.
A subscription renews itself for the same period until you stop it. Prices are in US dollars; if your card settles in another currency your bank applies its own conversion.
Where you pay, and who takes the money
If you subscribe inside the iPhone app, Apple takes the payment and Apple's terms govern that sale. If you subscribe inside the Android app, Google does. If you subscribe in your browser, Stripe does, as merchant of record.
Card details never reach us, on any of the three. One subscription covers every device you sign into with the same FlatStock account, whichever of the three you bought it from.
Cancelling, and refunds
You can cancel at any time, and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Cancel where you bought it: in your Apple Account settings, in Google Play under Payments and subscriptions, or from the link in your Stripe receipt.
We do not refund a period that has already started. The 14-day trial is there so that you can decide before any money moves. Cancel during the trial and you are charged nothing at all.
Purchases made through Apple or Google are also subject to that store's own refund rules, which are the store's to apply and can be more generous than ours. Ask the store, not us, for those.
If we get something badly wrong, write to us. This paragraph is a policy, not a wall.
What happens if you stop paying
Your inventory stays readable and the full CSV export keeps working, on any day, including after a subscription ends. The app goes read-only; nothing is deleted and nothing is held back. Leaving is meant to be as easy as arriving.
Your data
Your inventory is yours. We do not sell it, share it, or train anything on it. What is collected and where it is held is set out on the privacy page.
You can delete the account and everything in it from Settings, permanently, at any time. How deletion works, and what is kept.
What we ask of you
Do not use FlatStock to break the law, to store someone else's data that you have no right to, or to attack the service or the people using it. Do not resell access to an account you do not control. We may suspend an account that is doing one of those, and we will tell you why.
You are responsible for your password and for who you share it with.
Availability, and the limits of what we promise
The app is built to work offline and indefinitely, and the device holds your data, so an outage on our side does not stop you working. Sync and the website may still be unavailable from time to time, for maintenance or for reasons outside our control, and we do not promise a particular uptime figure.
The service is provided as it is. Nothing here excludes any liability that Polish law does not allow us to exclude, and nothing here takes away the statutory rights of a consumer. Beyond that, our liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose.
Changes
We may change these terms. If a change matters to you (price, refunds, what happens to your data) we will tell you by email before it takes effect, and the date at the top of this page always says when it last changed. If you do not want to accept a change, cancel; you keep access to the end of the period you paid for.
Law
Polish law governs these terms, and the Polish courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the law of the country you live in.
